Jack Harlow Announces “Sweet Action II” EP for November 6

Louisville rapper Jack Harlow will drop the seven‑track sequel to his 2020 EP, “Sweet Action II,” on Friday, November 6.
Jack Harlow is gearing up for the second installment of his “Sweet Action” series. The Louisville MC confirmed on Monday, November 2, that his seven‑song EP, “Sweet Action II,” will be released on Friday, November 6.
According to the official announcement, the new collection “revisits the playful spirit of its predecessor with a more evolved perspective.” The statement adds that “the charm remains, but six years of life and experience bring a more candid, mature take on love, relationships and growing up.”
The EP’s vibe is described as “exploring the messy contradictions of modern romance, from new attraction and old attachments to jealousy and commitment.” It blends “sharp humor, conversational storytelling and vulnerability,” capturing “the tension between wanting love and holding on to freedom.”
In March, Harlow marked his 28th birthday by releasing his fourth studio album, Monica, an R&B‑leaning project that appears to set the tone for the new EP. A preview of “Too Soon” was posted on TikTok last week, showing Harlow lip‑syncing with two friends while Babyface’s acoustic guitar and hi‑hat drive the track. The snippet includes Babyface’s line, “Is it too soon? / Too soon for me to f–k somebody new? / Too soon? / Is it too soon? / Too soon for me to love somebody new?”
Harlow has also teased the slower‑rolling “610 Magnolia” ahead of the EP’s launch. At press time, no dates for supporting shows or a tour have been announced.
