Hayden Christensen’s Bizarre Burglar Encounter at L.A. Comic Con

Unexpected Visitor During a Home Invasion

While speaking on stage at L.A. Comic Con, Hayden Christensen described what he called “the strangest fan encounter” of his career. He said a burglar broke into his house, recognized him, apologized, and then handed back the items the thief had taken. “I’m like, is this a delivery guy?” Christensen recalled, adding that he saw the man holding his own belongings.

Christensen’s Attempted Goodwill Gesture

According to Christensen, the intruder claimed he was struggling for money and needed a ticket home. The actor said he gave the man some clothes and shoes for job interviews and offered to drive him to the train station and purchase the ticket himself. The burglar, however, never showed up for the ride.

Star Wars Career Highlights

Christensen first portrayed Anakin Skywalker in 2002’s Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, returned in 2005’s Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, and made a vocal cameo in 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker. He later appeared in the 2022 series Obi‑Wan Kenobi and the 2023 series Ahsoka. At Star Wars Celebration last year, Lucasfilm confirmed his return as Anakin in Season 2 of Ahsoka. In an IGN interview, Christensen said he feels “more connected to Anakin now” because he has had more time to think about the character.

Upcoming Ahsoka Season 2 Details

Season 2 of Ahsoka is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on January 20, 2027, three‑and‑a‑half years after the series debuted in August 2023. The season will continue the story of the titular Jedi, featuring Rosario Dawson and a plot involving Grand Admiral Thrawn and a mysterious neighboring galaxy. Christensen will appear again as Anakin Skywalker, expanding on his Season 1 guest appearance via the World Between Worlds.

Christensen’s anecdote adds a personal twist to his public profile as he prepares for another chapter in the Star Wars saga.
