Christian Yelich Lists Malibu Ocean‑View Estate for $30 Million

Milwaukee Brewers captain Christian Yelich has put his newly completed Malibu mansion on the market at $30 million.
Milwaukee Brewers captain Christian Yelich is capitalizing on his team’s historic World Series win by putting his Malibu residence up for sale at a $30 million asking price.
Six years ago the left fielder and designated hitter paid $5.55 million for a one‑acre parcel that came with architectural plans from Los Angeles‑based KOVAC Design Studio. A KOVAC representative told AD that Yelich intends to move his family back to Wisconsin, and the listing is now being handled by his mother, Alecia Yelich.
The property, completed this year, spans 5,300 sq ft and sits above the Pacific Coast Highway with unobstructed ocean views. It offers four bedrooms and six bathrooms, each bedroom uniquely equipped with a refrigerator tucked into the closet.
Walls of glass blur the line between indoor and outdoor living. A double‑height foyer greets visitors, leading to a floating staircase. The main level includes a spacious deck with an infinity pool, outdoor shower, bathroom, multiple fire pits, a dining area and an outdoor kitchen.
Inside, a living area features a fireplace and wet bar, while the kitchen showcases blonde wood cabinetry, white marble countertops and a long island with seating for five. Entertainment amenities include a home theater with a concession room, tiered recliner seating, an LED video wall, professional‑grade acoustics and surround sound.
Additional high‑end touches comprise radiant‑heated wide‑plank hardwood flooring, integrated smart‑home technology, a dog run, and Tesla solar batteries.
The sale represents a significant markup from the original purchase price, reflecting both the luxury finishes and the coveted coastal location.
