Flávio Bolsonaro lands in Miami amid passport dispute

The defeated Brazilian presidential candidate arrived in Florida with his family after defying a Supreme Court order.
Flávio Bolsonaro, the defeated right‑wing presidential candidate for Brazil, has arrived in Miami, Florida, accompanied by his wife and two daughters.
The trip follows his failure to comply with a Brazil Supreme Court order to surrender his passports, a requirement tied to an ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering.
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva described Bolsonaro's departure as shameful and said, "those who have nothing to hide have nothing to fear".
The BBC's Ione Wells is looking into whether Bolsonaro left Brazil to avoid the investigations.
